Heads-Up Displays (HUD) have been an integral part of a fighter pilots tools for decades. The ability to see information in front of you is essential while you’re flying at ridiculous speeds and undergoing G-force. Now that technology has made it to cycling.
The photos speak for themselves. Israeli defence contractor Elbit Systems has created the Everysight Raptor smart glasses for high-definition statistical information while on the road. Turn-by-turn navigation, ride time, distance, speed, heart rate, cadence and power are all available. You can even make phone calls and listen to music through a speaker in the glasses' frames, without ever taking your eyes off the road.
