On my commute into the Electric Bikes Kent showroom, I ride through a brand-new village that's starting to take shape. Peters Village barely consists of a few houses and basic infrastructure as of writing in August 2016, but this new housing site already boasts Medway's third bridge, as well as plenty of cycle lanes and riverside pathways.
The bridge connects Peters Village with Snodland and the A228 leading to the M2 and M20 and the National Motorway network. Ebbsfleet International Station will be just 11 miles from Peters Village, and considering you can cycle that distance in little over half an hour on an electric bike, the possibilities for cycle commuters into London are great.
Even better, a new approach road has been constructed from the south to give swift access to the dual carriageway A229 link between the Medway Towns and Maidstone, both being under four miles away. Four miles on an electric bike is usually twenty minutes max.
