Seen at the Cycle Show 2016 - 01 - Headkayse cycling helmet

A new British company have come up with a soft, foldable cycle helmet that can pass safety standards after multiple impacts. The Headkayse One was on show being slammed into the floor by a pressure machine, and each time it came out unscathed. The helmet can be folded flat when not in use, perfect for a bag or suitcase. It felt rather heavy and not that comfortable when we tried it on, so you'll definitely want to try one, but if safety is your number one concern, this could be the invention for you.

Top electric brands Haibike, Raleigh, Gocycle, Winora, Cube, KTM, and Wisper are on show this year in the e-village, and also at the Cycle Show 2016 are Cannondale, Orange mountain bikes, Shand Cycles, Radon from Germany, Isla bikes, Ridley, Saracen, Genesis, Ridgeback, Magura, USN, Crud, 2Pure with Merckx, NRG4 with Limar helmets, Avocet, Miche, KMC, Orbita from Portugal, Simplon from Austria and Megamo from Spain. They join the biggest line-up of bike companies and brands in the UK including the likes of Cube, Canyon, Ribble, Planet-X, Vitus, Trek, Bianchi, Colnago, Boardman, Whyte, KTM, Hope, SRAM, Lazer, FSA, Shimano, Cinelli, Kinesis, Ritte, Primal, Pinarello, Schwalbe, Deda, Lapierre, Mondraker, Storck, Condor, Campagnolo and many, many more.
